Dawson City Visitor Center

Once in Dawson your first stop should be at the Dawson City Visitor Information Center (VIC) located on Front and King Streets. The center is staffed with friendly locals who will help you plan your stay in Dawson based on your individual needs. Whether your looking for a place to stay, for weather and road conditions, or insider information on things to do and see, you’ll find it all there. The centre houses interesting exhibits and shows free films.

Northwest Territories Visitors Centre

If planning a trip up the Dempster Highway, be sure stop by the Northwest Territories Visitors Center conveniently located across the street from the VIC. Due to the isolated nature of this route, the staff will help prepare you for your arctic adventure.
